After much consideration, we are sad to report that the HBCA Summer Rec program will not operate this season.

We know this comes as a disappointment to many campers, parents, and staff who look forward to our program every year.

The health and safety of our children, staff, and neighbors is our top priority.  Given the facilities and resources with which our program operates, we will not be able to adhere to the restrictions and procedures necessary to ensure everyone’s safety.

The restrooms in the Casino have been reopened and will undergo frequent cleaning and sanitation of high touch surfaces periodically throughout the day.

While using the restrooms, please follow all posted guidelines including wearing masks and limiting occupancy to one person at a time.

As a reminder beach access continues to be restricted to members only. All vehicles must have a displayed 2020 HBCA sticker. No guest vehicles are permitted at this time.

This year's HBCA Memorial Day ceremony was quieter and more somber than ever. But as we raise the flag to remember and honor fallen soldiers we are also reminded that our flag has given hope to the hopeless and brought about light in the darkness.

Stay safe, stay hopeful and always remember those who gave all for our country.

Following Memorial Day weekend, the main gate to the beach parking lot will remain open for members’ access.

Given the restrictions at the town beaches and parks, we expect there will be a larger volume of beach-goers, particularly from outside of the HBCA community attempting to access our facilities.
